This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2007, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial. |
Step One

In Microsoft Outlook click on the Tools Menu |
Step Two

On the tools menu select "Account Settings..." |

A window like the following should appear: |

Step Three

On the "Account Settings" window, click on the "New..." button  |
 |
On the "Choose E-mail Service" window: |

Step Four
 |
Ensure that the "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP" radio button is selected |

On the "Auto Account Setup" screen |
 |
Fill out the field with your name |
 |
Fill out the field with your email address |
 |
Click on the Check-Box |

Step Six

Ensure that the "Internet E-mail" radio button is selected |

Step Seven

On the "Add New E-mail Account" window |
 |
fill out the with either mail.yourdomain.tld, where youdomain.tld will be the domain name we host for you and the .tld will either be .com, .net, or .org |

In the section your "User Name:" will be the same as your " -mail Address:" |

your will be the one you chose when the E-mail Address was setup by the yourwebpress.com customer service department |

If you do not want to enter your password in each time, check the check-box |

And leave the check-box unchecked |

In the "Outgoing Server" tab |

If your Test E-Mail fails during the send the mail message may have been blocked. It has been our experience that recently some internet service providers (ISPs) block access to some mail servers, and this may be the case. You may be able to gain access to our servers by changing your "port" numbers, to do this: |
